I was at the memorial event commemorating the moment that it happened. The best part was listening to the many survivors who are still around. I couldn't believe how many there were. They were funny as hell. This one lady who stated that she was born in the tent city in Dolores Park. San Francisco's weather is cold and my Mother and Father had to snuggle up in the tent then I came along. "I was raised by prostitutes" she proclaims!! Just hilarious. There's a site for the quake www.sfrising.org There's supposed to be a concert with Carlos Santana in Golden Gate park, free to the public sometime this summer or fall.
