Thank you Mike for sharing your blog with me while I am in Australia. I can't believe that i am actually here. I also can't believe that I am on this adventure without you! This picture was the last I saw of my family before heading into the airport. I was nervous about having all of my documents and my luggage making it with me. I made it through OK and went to my gate to wait for my turn to enter the sardine can that would take me to LA.



I was not the only one waiting. The airlines are all trying new ways to load the planes - American loaded from the front to the back! I was in the back so, it was a wait. I was happy to have a lady sit next to me who was more nervous about flying than I was. So, I landed in LA just fine and was gearing up for my 3 hour wait.
